Dr. Tom McCoy

Dr. Tom McCoy is a seasoned pastor and ministry leader with more than 40 years of experience serving churches in Tennessee and beyond. God allowed Tom to plant and lead Thompson Station Church, where he served as pastor for 35 years, seeing the congregation grow from a handful of people (8) to more than 2,000 in weekly worship. With strong gifts in preaching, leadership, and evangelism, Tom has dedicated his life to sharing the Gospel and equipping believers for ministry. He and his wife, Leighann—an author and speaker—have three adult children and have committed their lives to serving Christ together. Tom is grateful for the opportunity to lead Friendship Baptist Church and is excited for this new season of ministry.
